I've had an OG DS, DSi, and 3DSXL, I've played the shit out of all of them and there is zero defect in either screen. They don't touch. The clamshell design *saves* screens, it doesn't usually wreck them. If some particulaly flawed iteration of the DS has this issue that's a bummer, I guess I was lucky to not buy that one. The overall design has no reason to ruin screens though. (n/t) from SignOfZeta.
