Whelp, I just bought Card Fighters Clash 2 in sparkling condition from an Ojamakan in the suburbs of Osaka for 9700yen (so about $89.) I remember seeing this in Tokyo for like twice that so even though this is probably the most expensive game I've ever bought I'm pretty much thinking I got a decent deal

Ok, well I was just in one of the two Osaka Super Potatoes and JP clamshell Crush Roller was 19800 yen. I own that, purchased at one point for, I think, $10 (specifically the JP clamshell, too.) anyone able to explain that insanity? (n/t) (aerisdead) (08:02:56 08/12/17 EST)
that is good! I couldn't remember whether I had one myself, and I went downstairs to look - my confusion came from the fact I have a japanese CFC1, and also bought the flash cart from flavor with CFC2 on it! So there! anyway, the way to explain the super potato stuff is it's super potato! they have all the games at twice the price! (still, this is a lot more than twice...) I'm glad I got Poke-kun and CF2 from members here for basically what they paid. Otherwise I'd be fucked. I almost feel like we're about a year away from a situation where nobody can afford anything decent before 2002 or so. Every time I check game prices they have doubled. Bonk 3 is $1500? Yeah, why not? Fuck. (n/t) (SignOfZeta) (21:01:12 08/16/17 EST)
