It’s more of an issue when you’re using stock composite out on the crappy TV that came with your one room apartment, which I was doing at the time the Saturn version was new. '97 put more emphasis on making the locations look kind of realistic, eh in a way, so I guess that could make sense. SF always went for brighter colors.
