definitely, but I don't have any of them (aside from a broken gp32). so I was thinking this cute form factor might be the one, but it seems not!

Well, 10 games is a shitload of games if you’re actually playing them. I have a similar desire for the PCE mini but for different reasons. That is, the thing has so much lag that I want to replace all the shooters on it with RPGs and mahjong games and other titles were lag doesn’t matter. I enjoyed Ys I&II a lot, but Lords of Thunder is not really playable, IMHO. If I was new to the game I may not notice but I can 1CC LoT it on real hardware on the same TV I can’t even clear it on the Mini. There’s some intangible issue...the G&W seems much much better in the actual gameplay area. I think I like it more than an actual NES.

interesting, I didn't know the lag was so bad on the mini. I bought the snes mini and never opened it, and that was pretty much the end of my mini-buying experience.

Its weird but I'm not sure the lag is equal in every game. I'm also not sure exactly what lags, if all aspects lag the same, etc, its hard to pin down. It's just..off. The Japan scene would never complain and I think it didn't sell super well outside of Japan or to people super familiar to PCE and the overall package is SO good that I think people didn't notice. If the SNES lagged like this a million fans would bitch. The SNES one is almost perfect but to be honest the game list really is sort of small, half as many games as the PCE one. Great amazing games for sure but the variety of the PCE one is so much broader.
