| | Free-to-play version (regular version w/ some 1P modes is a couple bucks or so), trying to do a "Tetris 99" type thing of spamming your screen with updates on how you're doing relative to other simultaneously playing players to spice up the normally boring game of bouncing a ball off bricks with a paddle. When I tried there was only one other player at first, and I think they bailed after the ~30 second wait, as soon as the actual play started, so it was me and 24 or so AIs. I think it would have got boring anyway? At first it seemed zany with flashing FX and blurs whatever that thing is called where things are a bit out of focus in multiple colors, but after that novelty wears off in a few minutes yeah you're watching a ball bounce around, with occasional power up things dropping etc. It just kept going so I quit. |

| | "Controllers Not Supported" says Steam, and you can't map control either: it's mouse to move L/R and then up/down arrow for something relating to other players, I dunno, didn't use that. The mouse control seems snappy enough, I just thought there'd be a keyboard option. |

| | Also maybe scanline fx, spherical distortions, etc--they REALLY wanted you not to realize it was boring. |

| | The game made my computer's fan go real noisy constantly; only other game I get that with is Pinball FX (see entry 1610). : P |
