i did find out that they don't call it covid at all over there and call it the corona virus 100% of the time. learned this while in a drug store asking for a test and the pharmacist was like i have no idea what you're talking about, and a fellow patron had to be like "it's the corona virus." also i just learned you can't type japanese characters here.
