Ugh, my PSN account limits how many systems I can have registered. I think my PSPGo is registered so maybe I can untether that (if I can figure out how to do it). Anyway, yeah, big disappointment, even at this price. (n/t) from NeoGutsman.
I think what really shot Sony in the face was the back touch screen and having to be beholden to it for compatibility. You can assign touch points on it and the front screen to remap PS1 buttons, but I'd rather have four shoulder buttons of some sort. Tearaway is so charming in its use of the back panel but by and large I think it was a feature that wasn't worth including. Kudos on the two analog pads. I think they're pretty good overall. For what it's worth, I love the Vita. I just hate the expensive proprietary memory cards and the inability to download certain PS1 and PSP games directly (some I have to download to the PS3 then to the Vita via cable).
Sorry, I feel like I'm catching up on... 5-6 years of posts? This is all probably old discussion for all of you.
