You can assign touch points on it and the front screen to remap PS1 buttons, but I'd rather have four shoulder buttons of some sort. Tearaway is so charming in its use of the back panel but by and large I think it was a feature that wasn't worth including. Kudos on the two analog pads. I think they're pretty good overall. For what it's worth, I love the Vita. I just hate the expensive proprietary memory cards and the inability to download certain PS1 and PSP games directly (some I have to download to the PS3 then to the Vita via cable). from NeoGutsman.
Yeah, the Vita's dual analogs are just the best. I wish I had more games to play that use both of them. I have never experienced worthwhile rear touch though. I have a few games that have very lame tacked on excuses for it, but nothing that makes any sense. I don't even get what good it was ever supposed to be. Maybe it helps with FPS somehow?
