That Xiao Hai dude the main character morphed into at the end (at "EVO") is a professional fighting game player. One of the URLs at the end goes to what looks like a Chinese site selling a front end for buying/playing PC versions of games, I suppose they probably have a downloadable Chinese version of KOF'97. Yeah, apparently 97 is a huge deal still in certain places.
