I wouldn't consider it smart to invest in any kind of video game stuff. Consoles are fucked. Handhelds, doubly so. Mobile is healthy on the whole, but getting your game noticed without a billion dollar ad campaign is nigh on impossible. It seems just...impossible, that this decision would make sense. Maybe they pissed off the yakuza and got strong armed out of the business? Maybe SNK president was born again? Does SNK actually have more than five full time employees in the gaming division? I REALLY dont want to piss anyone off, but your accurate description of the average gambler sounds like the average mobile gamer. Except of course, gamblers need to walk to an ATM, and most mobile gamers have their bank accounts directly linked, often without even the hurdle of password protection, to their accounts.
