Miitomo is so incredibly boring that it feels like having a second job (ie. needing to grind every day). And for what? The rewards you can get with these points is a far cry from the greatness that was Club Nintendo. (n/t) from Darius.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is. Not that specfic stuff, but it's collecting some sort of data for "real" Nintendo shit to be made at a later date and that's all it is.
