I think there might be a small bump, like 2 hours. Both Colors will run well over 40 hours on a set of AAs. More like 50.

The latter can run upwards of 40+ hours on one set of AA's I recall. The NGPC ran for a long time, too, but I forget how long. Anyway, congrats. It doesn't sound scifi at all. It was normal. What we have now is what's scifi, like from some dystopian Gibson book called "9 month Life Span". It isn't about planned euthanasia, it's about landfills brimming with garbage devices.
