So I'm casually browsing the internet, somehow end up on Falcoon's Twitter, scroll through his drawings, and stumble across a picture where he shows a Mark of the Wolves Terry sprite in NGPC style. Turns out it was prototyped for the shelved MotM2! Link inside.
Makes you wonder how far into development of MotM2 they were. Probably not that far, but it'd be one hell a of a prototype to one day surface somewhere. Can I get a KoF R-3 with that?
Oh, in another post he confirms that people from the Metal Slug team at the time worked on R-1, R-2 and MotM. Must be the sprite artists, as their names line up with the MS front designers.
