Well, I guess. M2 made the PCE Mini and it for sure has some sort of lag. Mednafen is very good, that’s all I know. On most platforms it’s command line only for some stupid fucking reason and nobody would waste time with that shit unless it was worth it.

The Wikipedia article and official documentation site do not list Neo Geo AES/MVS support, just NeoGeo Pocket. Also, I couldn't find any mention of Mednafen having zero added input delay (as opposed to say Retroarch, which boasts that it does), which is the particular miracle that M2's editions perform. Mednafen was the one NGP emulator I could get to work! : D Interesting point about M2 and the PCE Mini. The only game of theirs I can say off the top of my head that I've tested for input lag is their KOF '96 on PS3 (part of the unfortunately short-lived NEOGEOSTATION line--they started with the earliest NEO games which was probably a mistake; in KOF, '96 was as far as they got), and it matched my test of MVS KOF 2000, whereas PS2 and DC KOFs were at least a frame slower. And I got two of their ShotTriggers shmup ports on PS4, which seemed quite responsive--but I don't have the arcade boards of those for comparison.
