I think for the JP market, before these stand alone JAMMA games, they were mainly only making one slots to go into Sega/Sammy cabs by then and publishing one or two Neo games a year. The Memory Card itself was probably discontinued for several years by then and it wasn’t very popular at any point. If the Memory Card doesn’t work with MS5 then that’s another reason that game isn’t that great. For the AES player that sorta sucks. (n/t) from SignOfZeta.
Something I read said that 2003 was planned for Atomiswave but they changed their minds and made it for Neo. So that’s how hardcore they were about supporting old MVS gear by this point, not at all!
