Playing through Sonic Adventure 2: Trial, the demo version of Sonic Adventure 2 on PS3! It only runs at 720p (60fps, though!), but the full PS3 version is $2.50 less expensive than the Steam one--and there's no demo on Steam.
I'm pretty terrible at Sonic-ing and I just get completely bamboozled by the physics and camera at work here that seem to do arbitrary things at different points and you just have to play it over and over until you figure out how to do it in some amazing flowing single motion or something probably that I am never going to manage!
But I didn't dislike it as much as I'd thought I would. The framerate is steady! The music is kind of ridiculous ear worms that I couldn't dislike--except maybe for one guitar bit. |
