| | I didn't realize that there was a decent Tetris on Super Nintendo, but here it is, along with Dr. Mario. I didn't play Dr. M, as I've never cared for it, but the Tetris, which I played 2-player, seemed pretty good: that is, the colors don't suck too bad, and it has that Russian music from the original (like the GB one, see entry 334), which is rare. That's right, 2-player: you can do head-to-head vs battles. Whenever you clear more than two lines, the opponent gets those lines minus one added to the bottom of their pile, unless you get a Tetris (four lines), in which case they get zapped with all four lines. This gets nasty real quick. 2-player, then, works pretty well. Come to think of it, I think there was a third, very sketchy-looking game icon on the game select menu. I wonder what that was. |
