| | | Capcom continued to improve the art and complicate/enliven the gameplay in their series of Mickey Mouse platform adventure games. One memorable stage here has Mickey going through a Venice-like water city, on a boat he propels by jumping on a spindle-rigged seat.
This proves complicated as the boat shoots forward as soon as he lands, often leaving Mickey to bounce into the drink behind. Not so bad, at first, but later he gets a suit of armor with a spring-loaded boxing glove lance, and dude can't swim in that stuff, yet he has to cross an extensive series of watery road sections. Ouch. Yeah, these games get tough. They're pretty to look at, but do you really want the pain? |
