At first I tried to learn mahjong proper but quickly tossed that idea and just felt my way through. By the time I unlocked everything I was operating on pure instinct, couldn't even necessarily rationalize or explain what I was doing. It was a pretty interesting experience. (n/t) from substance J.
Even weirder is when you start playing again many years later and even though you thought you forgot everything about the game, you are totally back to rocking it in two games. This is the exact opposite of the experience I had the other day when I put in Jump Ultimate Stars for the first time since...2007? Something like that. Yeah, anyway, I have no idea WTF I'm doing in that game. My save seems to indicate I had mastered the game but it just looks like a wall of loud nonsense now.
