| | No longer appears to be supported (supported later flavors are 60 S, 60 X, 60 Pro : P), but this thing captures video up to 1080p 60 fps via HDMI. Can also act as an HDMI pass-through. Says it uses 59.94 fps rather than 60 fps exactly: https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027952432-720p-video-at-59-94-or-60-fps-with-Elgato-Game-Capture-HD Using it as a pass-through with the PS4, I find I have to have my laptop on--the Elgato's mini or whatever USB out is attached to the laptop--to get the video to come through to my monitor, I suppose that's how it draws power. Can't read video output directly from an OSSC (see entry 1634); have to run that through a Framemeister first (see entry 1617). I then capture the video using OBS Studio in Windows. |

| | Comes with its own "Game Capture HD" settings/recording/streaming softwareI use OBS for recording/streaming instead. But sometimes have to run Game Capture HD to initialize the hardware if it isn't coming up in OBS. |
