| | | | I got this because I'm on a shooter kick and really I didn't expect that much from it. To my surprise it turned out to be rather well done. The speed and animation are much better than what I'd expected, though they obviously achieve this by throwing a mere handful of badguys at you at any one time. Also, I'm not that keen on having to hammer two buttons (shoot and bomb) at the same time constantly. Fortunately (?) the game doesn't last long enough for digital fatigue to set in--it's actually pretty much a cakewalk until you run into a couple really difficult bosses and mid-bosses who don't seem to leave you an avenue of dodging. Gotta learn to save up my magic charge blasts... |
