| I can't remember for sure if this came out in the States, but I think it did--I think US versions of a few games supported it. That is, it was never supported by more than a handful of games, most notably Capcom vs SNK (see entry 813), Capcom vs SNK 2 (see entry 814), King of Fighters: Dream Match '99, King of Fighters '99: Evolution, Match of the Millenium (entry 421), King of Fighters R-2 (entry 415), and King of Fighters: Battle de Paradise (entry 144). Basically, it would let generally one DC game exchange data with one NGPC, possibly unlocking features or "store credits" in the games. In general I hate this kind of marketing "connectivity" bullcrap, and I can't say I love it here--but it does make for an easy way to unlock everything in MotM, at least. |
