Yeah, it does take a while to remember all the hands but if you keep a list on your phone while you play the interface here is nice. You can turn on options to let you know when your hand is ready to call or when an opponent drops a winning tile you can steal. If you declare riichi (one away from winning) it will show you the tile(s) you need to win. The level 1 difficulty is pretty darn mild so it wouldn't be as frustrating to learn against (unlike the original SRM which is what I learned on and the ladies are absolute sharks). There are one or two better games to learn on but if I was able to throw myself headfirst into harder mahjong games and learn then anyone can. I can be quite spacey at times. Really, it comes down to whether you can get a good price and what you're willing to pay for a game you may not get much mileage out of. I was ecstatic at 35 because I regularly saw it go for 50-70.
