You can turn on options to let you know when your hand is ready to call or when an opponent drops a winning tile you can steal. If you declare riichi (one away from winning) it will show you the tile(s) you need to win. The level 1 difficulty is pretty darn mild so it wouldn't be as frustrating to learn against (unlike the original SRM which is what I learned on and the ladies are absolute sharks). There are one or two better games to learn on but if I was able to throw myself headfirst into harder mahjong games and learn then anyone can. I can be quite spacey at times. Really, it comes down to whether you can get a good price and what you're willing to pay for a game you may not get much mileage out of. I was ecstatic at 35 because I regularly saw it go for 50-70. from twelvest.
hah! guts did a faq! but yeah, I'd probably get it if I saw it cheap! I kind of would like to learn on suchie pai, and started to, but of course it also has powerups and weird things, so what will I really be learning!?
