Also started noticing attacks seeming to go through each other, although maybe this is just perceptual and due to the higher attack execution speed in 2003. Anyway I think I'll be sticking to 98 and 2000--more my speed I guess. (n/t) from Paleface.
Switching from 98 to 2003 is pretty big. Having no CD attack is rough. Lots of things combo more easily or juggle more but normal two-in-ones are harder. The Tag thing is a huge adjustment. No maxing up, no normal SDMs, and no Takuma. I can’t play this the same way I played 98 AT ALL. I cleared level 1 last night after accidentally KOing Kusanagi with a non-super and ditching the game three times in a row. I guess my team is Ash, Ralf, Mary, but I may have to get rid of Marry if I can’t get her to work better. She is a little different from 98. I could probably make Terry work.
