The arcade version is every bit as colorful and charming as the console version, though it doesn't have the "time attack" mode found in the home port. If you see this in your local arcade (such as the retro room at GameWorks Seattle, for instance), be sure to give it a play--Mr. Driller doesn't disappoint. Aside from being ported to Dreamcast (see entry 388), this first Mr. Driller game also made it to PlayStation, GameBoy Color, PC, and even (according to GameFAQs) WonderSwan Color and mobile phones. |
