| | | This port goes one better than '97's by keeping the in-game music. Yay! Load times seem a bit quicker as well. Stands up surprisingly well to the DC version even with the small load times between rounds, and even though the DC's 3D backgrounds maintain the original look surprisingly well it's nice to have the 2D backgrounds in this version.
The sound isn't quite as rich and the art gallery isn't as pretty but may be of interest to SNK trivia buffs as it contains low-resolution B&W scans of unused KOF character art--costumes and even characters that never appeared in any of the games. |
