Ol' lefty.
After a tough gunfight you may find yerself with no ammo. Well, don't despair 'cause you've always got yer two best friends, good 'ol Righty and Lefty, who stick with you through thick and thin. It takes guts ta face down a gun-toting maniac with just your fists but believe me punching can prove quite effective, and knockin' someone out is really satisfying. Many times have I chafed under the ignominity of gettin' knocked into next week by someone's fist while I wuz tryin' ta gun 'em down. How embarrassing! In fact, in a laggy game you may have much more success scorin' hits with yer fists than with a gun. So start practicin' with that punchin' bag!

   
 
 
Don't count him out just because he runs out of ammo fer his pea shooter!

If you get stuck in tight quarters with no ammo you may be able to salvage the situation with the correct application of some fisticuffs. Get in close and stay there, movin' side to side to make yerself a harder target. Often if yer right next to someone a little move to the side will put you entirely out of their field of vision, and you can get a few hits in while they try to find you again. If yer target is really quick on his feet try usin' jabs; they don't do as much damage but you'll find it easier to hit fast movin' fellas.

Certain characters pack more of a whallop than others.
Bloody Mary's big man-hands dish out damage nearly equal to Two Feathers' knife; two or three licks from her will put anyone down. Big Two Feathers can hold his own pretty well with bareknuckles, although he does much better with a knife. And guess what? Little Jack Sanchez, a featherweight if there ever was one, has the deadliest fists south of the Rio Grande! His lightning-quick dogs pack quite a punch and he's so fast he can hit ya three times before you can reload, so don't count him out just because he runs out of ammo fer his pea-shooter!
